What’s been happening:

I have been residing in the Northern Virginia area since early 2000 (currently Fairfax, VA.) In the 12+ years since graduation, I have put my Management Science and Information Systems (Smeal College of Business) degree to good use. I have been working as an Information Technology Consultant for nearly 10 years now, and am currently employed at CC Pace -- a business and technology consulting firm located in Fairfax, VA -- as a Sr. Consultant. Some of my more recent projects include a two-year engagement at Fannie Mae, where our team successfully delivered on several Fannie Mae Loan Acquisition (Committing and Delivery) initiatives while developing software applications for their Multifamily Housing and Community Development Operation. My latest consulting project consisted of a 15-month engagement with Nodal Exchange, a start-up electronic commodities exchange dedicated to offering locational (nodal) forward trading products and services to participants in the organized North American power markets. Our team enabled Nodal Exchange to launch their next-generation auction-based electricity futures trading platform in April 2009. Outside of work, I play on local softball teams and enjoy golf during the warm months, and I always look forward to Penn State football in the fall. I recently became engaged and have an October, 2009 wedding planned in Virginia.
